I bought some books at B&N, several for me and a few for gifts. Very expensive for just a few books.

I couldn't find the Japanese place, so I went to a new 'asian diner', and had "miso & soba", it wasn't bad. Then I went to go see a movie. I saw DOOM, and it was about as lame as I thought it would be. At least they put the BFG9000 in the movie. If you see it, check out the logo for the big evil corporation. I hear they're making a Halo movie too, although I dunno about it and I never played it so I'm not really interested.

I bought Maus, I'm eager to read it. And a book by a famous group of monks (not shaolin). I bought a book for my young cousins called "apologia" about a guy scraping roadkill off of the highway, it looked good. And another R. Crumb book (I love Crumb), and two of those 'worst case scenario' books, and "Oedipus the King", which is a famous play that can make your family squabbles seem relatively Wally & the Beaver. And a few others, I've forgotten what they are.

Re: Woot!
Have you seen the movie about him? He reminds me a hell of a lot like my uncle, who also does some art. I wonder if he's got some creepy big-legged chick porn hastily scribbled hidden under his mattress?
