I unlocked my bike for the first time in a few weeks and rode it to work. I needed to fill it up but she ran okay, better than I think it was running when I stopped riding it, I guess the plugs cleaned themselves magically. I still haven't put on any of the parts I got powdercoated, which I need to do so that I can get some data on how well they'll hold up to the usual Galveston blitzkrieg of salt, sun, and bird shit. If they pass muster then I can get the other parts shipped off (as soon as I can find a good bike jack/stand) and back before the Galv. rally (my self-imposed completion date for de-rusting and de-chroming this 2-cylinder disco ball). I'm glad she runs again, and maybe I can use this opportunity to take my truck to the dealership for a few days to get all the service done on it that needs to be done.
