Fucking rad!
Tommy was one of my fave movies when I was a kid. I used to have nightmares of Tina Turner wielding giant syringes. Dude, wasnt Keith Moon's character creepy as all fuck!? Oh yah, my favorite song is prolly the story of Sally Simpson.

Re: Fucking rad!
Tommy was weeeeeeird. But how many rock operas were there to compare it to really? I used to dig Tina Turner back when she was more hardcore, if you could call her that. She was one of the coolest in Beyond thunderdome with that weird chainmail shoulderpad shirt thing. "So long, raggedy-man.." And Keith Moon's character was creepy because Keith Moon was a friggin creepy bastard. But that's what made it good I guess.

Oh man, if you dug Tommy may I suggest Phantom of the paradise and Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Rock opera isnt dead yet! Did you know that Keith Moon actually had a medical condition that inherently allowed him to move his ech and every limb comletely independantly. Mustve been a bitch to learn how to walk. LOL, screw Tina, gimme old school Ann Margret any day! Just thinking of her rolling around in baked beans... mmmmm.
