I forgot to mention that the cutting stand I built was done with my new Ryobi 18 volt cordless drill, which is awesome. It put a 1-inch spade bit through the pressure-treated 4x4 like nobody's business. I'm pleased with that one. In fact it was so strong it sheared my 1/8" bit right in half. I never liked that bit anyway.
I posted a simply delicious reply to a LJ post asking about where they could find 'used cubscout uniforms' (use your impression of me to wonder what I might've answered with), and I come to find out several hours later that it isn't on the thread. Not even a 'reply deleted'. Was it ever there? Did it vanish? Lost in limbo like all the unbaptised babies? The world may never know. Actually, come to think of it I have a used cub scout uniform hanging in the closet at my Mom's house, I wonder what's in the pockets.
