(no subject)

No interviews today? I guess they're tomorrow then. Damn. I have to put my truck in the shop at 9, and then catch a bus back to class for 10:30 if not sooner. I'd like to get some confirmations beforehand.

I talked to one of the lackeys at my lawyer's yesterday and she told me she'd be overnighting some papers to me that I need to sign and overnight back to her asap (I had to email her to get her off her ass to do this, a week late) She's using Fedex, which as you may've read here earlier I am not happy with. I gave her special instructions for delivery, so we'll see. Unfortunately, I have to hang around here all afternoon until it gets here.

I got my Patrick family records out from the bookcase and started making a family tree late last night. Wow, my great aunt went through a LOT of work with it. There's several family ancestral branches included here. Some of the family members recorded go as far back as the 1500's!! Amazing. I've only gotten about 50 of the names in so far. I think I'll buy some family tree software instead of using software soon.

I don't think there's a family record of the Dufresne family, my mother's side, yet. I should get started on one of those, too.

Chicken soup for the Symantec Lover's soul

I went out and bought Internet Security 2002 and SystemWorks 2002 because 2000 version didn't run on XP and I was getting paranoid about my computer again. That and some disks and some inkjet iron-on paper cost about $215.00. Jesus christ in a fucking basket.

Groceries cost about 63.00

I'm cooking a chicken stock right now so I can use it to make homeade chicken noodle soup tomorrow. mmmm.. chicken soup. I enjoy soup more than any other food. I dunno why.

I'm swearing off lowfat milk too, now, b/c I forced myself to drink skim to get rid of it, and now I'm used to the taste. If it tastes basically the same, what's the point of drinking an extra 2% fat?

Hope this new software pays off. I looked at the Red Hat box that was there, but I wasn't ready to pay $60 for a new OS, especially because I'm not sure I'd enjoy it. And I'm not sure how to easily partition my HD.
