Smile! you're on CCTV

There'a a surplus auction going on at work, and there's a shitload of stuff auctioned off, from lab ultracentrifuges to seas of desks and chairs to medical equipment to huge lots of computers. I won a lot of 9 (NINE!!) CCTV video cameras for $400. A couple of them are old looking but there's at least one in the lot that's still retailing at $1000. I am going to put one or more of them on some sort of hub and try to connect them to my computer somehow. I just don't really know how to do that right now... If anyone has any knowlege of CCTV cameras or just computer-to-camera hookups in general, let me know s'il vous plait. I'm thinking of putting a multi-camera linkup page on my website.

what knowledge do you require of CCTV? I dont know anyone named "s'il vous plait" so its prolly best not to thank him just yet.but I do know Chris who does that type of work for a living. I can ask him for you.

Just basically how I can hook several of them up to my computer and make them viewable from a webpage. And where I can get a 25V AC hookup for some of the cameras. And maybe other things once I can actually do the first two things.

he said one word "webcam" ;) actually he said a lot.you need a mulitplexer among a whole list of other things, also he wanted to know how old the cameras are for the compatablity issues with a PC. also are they color or not.

Webcam... that's basically what I'm trying to turn them into. I have two USB webcams, but they're cheapo quality; although I wouldn't mind hooking one of them up to be on the webpage along with the others. One of my new ones is relatively new (Sony EVI-D30), and 7 others that are a few years old, but color (Panasonic WV-CL354). I need to get my hands on a power supply for them to figure out if they work.
