And on the ride home I got to watch the moon while they played Mandatory Metallica on the radio. I put the windows down and sang like an uncaged bird, if only for a little while. I'm so free, at night with the crosswind, and the lights and bumps and hills; and on the looong stretches when it's just me and those two yellow (or white) stripes layed out for miles..
But for now it's back into the cage.
