At my swordfighting class today I tested the two new students for thieir 'free scholar' ranking. I had no experience how to test for it so I just played it by ear. I got busted up sparring again, but I usually leave swordfighting class with at least 2 or 3 nasty bruises. I busted my ringfinger this time and almost tore my ACL I think.

Afterwards I went and got a 100-dollar car wash, or detail I suppose. They shampooed everything really nice and it was still wet when it was done. Basically took all the dog hair out (which Freya will put right back in). But now my brake indicator lights are coming on for some reason. I'll have to take the truck to the shop again to get them to check the sensor and wire. I went to the comic book shop while I was carless, and got some Cable and Deadpool, and then got Sushi.

I went back to the dojo we use at 7 for their 'open house' where the study group leader and I did a demonstration for the people. It went okay considering we don't prearrange our attacks or defenses, we just start swinging for each other's heads, I smacked him in the head and he hit me on my finger again. It wasn't feeling kosher so I put ice on it. I can feel a big clot in there but it'll go down.

I ordered and received a case for my dead Thinkpad's HDD, so I'll see on monday if I can access it and pull the important files off, and maybe even repair the XP installation. That would be beautiful.

Yah once every few years I drop a "bill" on really cleaning up my car. Makes my car feel all spiffy like. I did that on my Cougar just before selling it. Its amazing the psychological difference a clean car makes on you.

If they got water into the switch of your emergency brake, or pulled it and it won't completely release again, that'll cause those symptoms.
