holding back

I'm going to teach the swordfighting class again tomorrow since the senior guy is in China again.  I'm sure it'll be loads of fun.  I'm going to try to find a way for me to get some cardio work in there for myself as often when I am teaching, I just stand around and watch them move.  I can't really exert myself against them because the disparity of both technique and strenth/speed are way too much and the last thing I want to do is get someone hurt or to make someone not want to do this anymore.  I'll figure something out.  Afterwards I'm going to the nearby park with several small pumpkins, some beach mats rolled up and soaking in water, some milk jugs, and a big-ass beef roast I'll thaw out and set up on a cutting stand, and really go for it with the sword, and get a better feeling for things.

I went to Home Depot yesterday and bought what I'll need for making the cutting stands, except I forgot that some eat-shit stole my drill.  So I'll go back and get another one so I can assemble it.  Maybe I'll brink my camera.

My heater didn't work last night for some reason, and I woke up in the middle of the night shivering and found it was 68 degrees inside.  I put a heating pad under my dog's crate before I left today, and since my landlord's out until next month, it may be a chilly time for me (in addition to my lack of a working washing machine).

I made a bit list of all the things I need to do around my apartment to clean up and it's quite a saga.  I have an old flip-up rollaway bed frame with no mattress just taking up space, and I was going to throw it out, but I thought, it would be rather cool to build a new mattress for it, If I had a sewing machine.  But I don't have one, so I suppose it'll have to go out.
